Product Information
Glass
Quartz sand, soda, potash and lime are the basic raw materials in glass production.
High-quality drinking glasses are refined by the addition of lime; hardened glasses are hardened by the addition of chalk.
Crystal glass is suitable for very thin-walled and high-quality drinking vessels such as wine glasses, champagne flûtes or spirit cups and also for beer goblets or beer tulip glasses.
Lead crystal glass is outstanding for its great brilliance.
Industrially manufactured functional glasses are mostly made of soda lime glass.
We would be pleased to consult you on the development of a form created especially for you.

Ceramics
Ceramics is a general term for pottery, such as porcelain, stoneware or earthenware.
The type depends on the composition of raw materials, such as kaolin, clay, quartz, feldspar and by the respective firing temperatures.
Earthenware and stoneware are often used in the production of beer mugs, beer tankards or beer tumblers as well as for water tumblers and water jugs.
From ceramics and porcelain we also create our own forms of coffee- or teacups with saucers, cups with handles, mugs and custom forms made especially for you.
The porcelain rated the highest quality is fine bone china, to which up to 50% cattle-bone ash is added to make it very white and translucent.

Plastic
The starter materials for plastics are natural gas, coal and petroleum being the most important.
In our product field we concentrate on the use of plastics for industrial tableware, such as disposable and re-usable cups, bottle coolers and drinking vessels, most of which are produced from the plastics PP, PC, SAN, acrylic or PET.
If a hard structure is required, as for drinking vessels such as pitchers, jugs or even beer glasses, water glasses and wine glasses, often PC, SAN or acrylic are used. Drinking cups of PP or PET are used mainly for soft and light products like disposable cups and are significantly cheaper than PC, SAN or acrylic.
Plastic can take wonderful print motifs, from simple pad printing through in-mould-labelling to special lighting effects or embossment.
